NWF State College Parking Services
All vehicle operators must display a parking permit on their vehicle when parking in designated parking areas. Hurlburt Center location does not require permits.
- Semester Permits are $25 each and are valid to the end of the designated semester
- Annual Permits are $60 and are valid from fall term to end of summer term
- Each vehicle must be registered under student's online account
- Permits may only be used for registered vehicles
- Parking is permitted in designated areas only
Where Do I Display Permit?
- Hang Tag Permit: Rear view mirror
- Motorcycle Decal: Right side of the front fork of motorcycle
- Temporary Permit: Driver side dash
If your permit does not fit on your rear view mirror, you may place it on the driver side dash. The permit must be visible from the outside.
Temporary Parking Permits
Temporary parking permits are available free of charge. Temporary permit must be placed on the driver side dashboard of the vehicle. Temporary permits can be requested online or acquired by visiting your local ID card office and are valid until indicated date.
You have 30 days from date of citation to file an appeal. You can appeal a citation by visiting the PermitSales site.
The Student Traffic Court convenes, as needed, to adjudicate appeals of parking violations for students. After traffic court deliberation, results are emailed to your registered email.
Common Reasons for Unsuccessful Appeals
- Running late for class
- Was not aware
- Forgot to display permit
- Other vehicles parked in same manner
- Was not ticketed in the past
Financial holds are placed on student account for all unpaid citations. Financial holds prevent registration and the release of records.
All vehicle operators are responsible for complying with Northwest Florida State College's parking regulations whenever they bring a vehicle on campus. Vehicles parked on any of the Northwest Florida State College's locations must display a valid parking permit or temporary parking permit. The College cannot assume responsibility for vehicle contents while on NWF State College premises.
Driving on campus is a privilege. The College has the right to revoke privileges of operating a vehicle on campus.

Vehicle tire parked on or over the parking line in a manner that impedes parking in adjacent space.

Parked in a loading or unloading zone not designated for parking.

|PARKED IN DISABLED PARKING (+Tow Away Infraction)
It is unlawful for any person to stop, stand, or park a vehicle within, or to obstruct, any such specially designated and marked parking space provided in accordance with s. 553.5041, unless the vehicle displays a disabled parking permit issued under s. 316.1958 or s. 320.0848 or a license plate issued under s. 320.084, s. 320.0842, s. 320.0843, or s. 320.0845, and the vehicle is transporting the person to whom the displayed permit is issued. Vehicle will be towed at owner’s expense.
Vehicle is parked alongside another vehicle already parked at a curb.

Vehicles are require to display a valid permit or decal on the rear view mirror or driver side dash. Permit information must be visible from outside of the vehicle. Decals should be displayed on the front fork of the motorcycle.
Vehicle has outstanding citation fees from various violation(s) previously issued. Pay outstanding fees and immobilization fee to have boot removed.
PERMIT NOT REGISTERED TO VEHICLE
Each vehicle being used with a permit must be registered with designated permit. Using permit with an unregistered vehicle is a violation.
FORGED PERMIT (+Immobilization)
Any vehicle displaying a forged parking permit (ie: photocopy, picture of, etc).
